传台积电与三星3nm开发遇阻，恐推迟量产时间

据悉，台积电和三星将不得不推迟 3nm 制程工艺的开发进度，恐推迟量产时间，原因是他们在在各自 3nm 制程技术的开发过程中都遇到了不同但关键的瓶颈。


据了解，三星和台积电都在开发 3nm 工艺，但它们使用了不同的技术。台积电使用成熟的鳍式场效应晶体管技术（FinFET），三星则使用环绕栅晶体管技术（GAA）。

 

此前，台积电计划，3nm 将于今年完成认证与试产，2022 年投入大规模量产，甚至业界曾表示苹果已率先包下台积电 3 纳米初期产能，成为台积电 3 纳米第一批客户。

业界还预计台积电和三星的 3nm 工艺都将在 2022 年实现量产，而台积电有望领先三星至少半年。

 

台积电曾经声称，与目前最新的 5nm 工艺相比，其 3nm 工艺将使性能提高 10％-15％，功耗降低 20％-25％。


了解到，台积电在 2020 年的收入将继续创下新高。台积电董事长刘德银此前表示，为了提前部署 3nm，台积电已累计投资超过 2 万亿新台币，目标是每月产能超过 600,000 片 12 英寸晶圆，以实现 3nm 的批量生产。台积电规划，3nm 于 2022 年量产。

 

与此同时，三星也全力发展晶圆代工业务，规划投入 1,160 亿美元，目标 3 纳米制程 2022 年量产，以赶上台积电在 3nm 工艺上的发展。
