东芝芯片出售案犹如一场闹剧,西部数据将到嘴的肉扔了?

自今年年初以来，围绕着全球第二大NAND芯片制造商东芝的收购“闹剧”就在不停上演。继上月末传出西部数据完成交易的流言之后，今日外媒再次爆料，称西部数据已经放弃竞购。

据报道，两名消息人士星期二透露，由于双方对西部数据在东芝芯片业务中持股比例无法达成一致，西部数据与东芝最近为期数周谈判已经停止。谈判停止后，西部数据决定退出东芝芯片业务竞购大战，寻求在两家公司的芯片合资企业中获得更大优势。西部数据此举有助于东芝在延期数个月后达成出售芯片业务的交易，获得资金弥补西屋核电业务的亏损。

知情人士称，此前，包括西部数据、美国私募投资公司KKR&Co和日本政府投资的Innovation Network of Japan和日本发展银行在内的财团出价约1.9万亿日元(174亿美元)收购东芝芯片业务。

东芝希望限制西部数据在芯片业务中的持股比例，避免交易陷入漫长的反垄断审查过程。直接了解交易情况的消息人士称，西部数据已经向东芝表示，为了帮助完成交易，它计划退出竞购芯片业务的联盟，以解决监管部门的反垄断担忧。

当前，东芝芯片业务(与西部数据的合资公司)主要有三家竞购方，分别为西部数据财团、贝恩资本(Bain Capital)财团和富士康财团。按照原计划，东芝希望在8月底达成最终的出售协议。但由于多种原因，包括反垄断因素，东芝到目前为止仍未能与任何一方达成出售协议。但东芝同时表示，将来会继续与这三家竞购方谈判。

东芝董事会将于星期三举行会议，讨论相关事宜。
